FOSTERING AN ENVIRONMENT OF INCLUSION

Attempting to better understand biodiversity and all its intricacies is an enormous task. A diverse lab can best accomplish these goals given the array of expertise and experiences that accompany it. Only through wide-spread inclusionary policies can we truly hope to bring in a diverse suite of perspectives and unique insights to answer questions about the natural world. It is therefore crucial to train students of all backgrounds that will help foster an inclusive atmosphere and will ultimately bring about exceptional scientific scholarship.
